8/8/8 – Grand Opening: Still Creek
There’s a new music venue opening this Friday night. It’s located on a beautiful piece of North Florida woods on the east side of Tallahassee. The venue is called “Still Creek” after the road it’s next to. I guess they could of called it US 90, because it’s next to that too, but Still Creek has a nicer ring to it. Still Creek features an outdoor stage, fire ring and all the mod cons.
Opening night is featuring a lineup of local bands. Still Creek is BYOB/Coolers welcome. See the attached poster for more details.

Party in the woods Friday night on an amazing piece of property. The owner has worked hard to make this place into a really special spot and he’s ready to open it to the public to enjoy. Full Blackout, Catfish Alliance, Stranger Still and the Tally Allstars will provide entertainment. The party is BYOB (coolers are welcome) and lasts until. . . To get there go east on US 90 (aka Mahan aka Tennessee St.) 12 miles past Capital Circle NE (7 miles past I-10 & US 90 exit). Take a right off US90 onto Still Creek Road, it will be well marked. There is an $8 cover.
Tropical Storm Fay enlarged the pond at Still Creek and flooded most of the property. It’s getting dried out, cleaned up and will soon be better than ever.
